Profhilo H+L is a combination of Low and High Molecular Weight Hyaluronic Acid, developed with IBSA’s patented NAHYCO® technology.
Profhilo ranks among the world’s safest and most reliable HA skin fillers. Its main ingredient is non-animal Hyaluronic Acid with a remarkably high concentration. It successfully improves skin laxity and instantly remodels the face, neck, and body.
The durability of Profhilo is increased by this unique hybrid complex, which in turn decreases its degradation by 8 x that of Hyaluronic Acid on its own.
Profhilo triggers natural collagen production and be classed as more of a skinbooster or hydrating agent than a dermal filler.
The dual action of Profhilo owes its clever technology to both its low and high molecular weight HA. Low molecular weight HA regenerates Hyaluronic Acid production, whilst high molecular weight HA tightens the skin.
A highly purified stabilized hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin without any chemical cross-linking agents, the first organic injectable of its kind without BDDE.
The concentration of Hyaluronan is 64 mg per 2 ml.

It is recommended that after the first treatment, the next treatment takes place 1 month later, followed by a third treatment 2 months after the second.

The specific injection technique formulated especially for Profhilo, is called the Bio Aesthetic Points (BAP) technique, which involves five injection points on each side of the face, in safe areas away from the major vessels, where there is also increased absorption. This technique is proven to minimize risk whilst maximizing spreadability.
The depth of injection should be into the deep dermis using the bolus technique using a 29G needle. Slow injection is essential to reduce any pain.

HOW DOES PROFHILO H+L WORK?
Profhilo H+L lasts in the skin for around 28 days. With one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but it also remodels aging and sagging tissue. The results are improved skin quality and skin hydration in both the dermis and epidermis giving the skin a more youthful, plumped and firm appearance.
In contrast to dermal fillers and revitalizers, the injection technique for Profhilo requires very few injections. Only 5 points of injection are needed for achieving great and natural results. In general, results are visible after only two sessions (1 month). Once injected, Profhilo immediately starts spreading due to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid.
